Wavelength is back-office software for retail and food operators running more than one location. It does not replace the point of sale. It sits on top of the registers and the online store you already run, and it answers the question the register cannot: did the bank actually receive the money.
Each location closes its own day. Drawer and safe counts are blind, so nobody sees the expected figure before they count. A short drawer cannot be closed without a written reason, and the day locks on sign-off.
Register takings, processor settlement batches and the imported bank statement are matched against each other, and everything that does not tie lands in one exceptions queue with its location, date and amount.
Around that sits the rest of the back office: sales and customer analytics, an append-only inventory movement ledger, purchasing and iPad receiving, production and scale labelling, wholesale invoicing with credit memos and receivables aging, device and staff management, and a QuickBooks journal export.
